Our Story

It all started on March 17, 2019

​

We had the pleasure of meeting through mutual friends during a St. Patrick’s Day game night and night out in Philadelphia. After that night we continued to talk and spend time with one another (Stevie always planned the most thoughtful dates!). On May 19, 2019 Stevie asked Ja’Nae to be his girlfriend. Little did we know, that night out would be the start of something more special than we have could imagined.

Fast forward to February 17, 2023

​

While on vacation in Hawaii, Stevie proposed to Ja’Nae. Despite a rainy start to their trip, the skies cleared just in time. Stevie, though not feeling well that morning, found the perfect beach spot while Ja’Nae visited the Dole farm with friends. Upon her return, and after a quick nap, they headed to the beach. As the sun set, Stevie set up his camera and drone, then knelt down and asked, "Ja’Nae Monique Lewis, will you marry me?" Through tears of joy, Ja’Nae said, "YES," marking the beginning of our next chapter.​​​​​​
